Saving Orphans Through Healthcare and Outreach
In sub-Saharan Africa and areas deeply affected by HIV/AIDS, the population of child-headed households is increasing dramatically. SOHO exists to improve the quality of life and life expectancy of orphaned and vulnerable children (OVCs), particularly those from child-headed households.
We accomplish this through programs addressing food and nutrition, clean water, health and safety, education, emotional support, life skills, and vocational training. We collaborate with a diverse group of organizations, schools, and businesses, both in the U.S. and abroad, to work toward sustainable solutions that foster self reliance.
SOHO is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
